How I Post to Social Media Every Day Without Thinking About It
by Johnny Tellez | Aug 13, 2026

For most business owners, social media is the chore that never ends. It’s that nagging thought at 7:00 PM: “I haven’t posted anything today.”
You know you need to be present. You’re told that to be a successful entrepreneur or a business coach, you have to be “omnipresent.” But the reality of scaling a small business usually involves putting out operational fires, not staging the perfect Instagram photo or wrestling with a LinkedIn caption for forty minutes.
Most people handle this in one of two ways: they either post sporadically (the "ghost town" method) or they hire an expensive agency that doesn't actually sound like them.
I decided to find a third way. I wanted a system where my social media was a natural byproduct of the work I was already doing. No "content days," no forced scripts, and absolutely no hype.
That’s where Sonny comes in.
Meet Sonny: The Social Media Manager Who Never Sleeps
Sonny is one of my "AI Employees." His entire job is to handle the heavy lifting of social media distribution. He posts to LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook every single day, like clockwork.
But here is the important part: Sonny doesn't make things up.
As a business consultant, my value comes from real-world experience: the 20+ years I’ve spent in the trenches of franchise operations and leadership. If an AI just started "hallucinating" advice about SOPs, it would ruin the trust I’ve built.
To keep Sonny grounded in reality, he has a partner: Eva.

The Tag Team: How "Brain Mining" Works
Eva is my AI executive assistant. She sits in on my coaching calls and reads my long-form blog posts. Every Tuesday, she performs what we call "brain mining." She looks through my recent conversations and documents to find 3-4 distinct content angles: actual insights, raw observations, or questions that came up during my day.
She then hands those "sparks" over to Sonny. Sonny takes that raw, authentic context and formats it for social media.
"The best content isn't in your head; it's in the conversations you're already having with clients."
Here’s a real story from a few weeks ago. I was on a call with a client who was feeling overwhelmed by the "whirlwind" of daily operations. I told them: "Most operational problems don't start as major failures; they start as small gaps in clarity that eventually become normal."
Eva caught that quote. She handed it to Sonny. Without me writing a single word of a "social post," Sonny turned that one observation into:
- A thought-leadership post for LinkedIn.
- A high-energy graphic for Instagram.
- A practical tip for our Facebook community.
I didn't have to "think" about social media that day. I just had to show up and be a coach.
Scaling Without the Noise
When you are scaling a small business, complexity is your biggest enemy. If your marketing requires you to be a full-time creator, you aren't an owner anymore: you're a bottleneck.

My philosophy at El Jefe Enterprises has always been Clarity Over Sales. I apply that to my social media, too. Sonny doesn't post "engagement bait" or "hustle porn." He shares the actual work.
Because Sonny and Eva are handling the distribution, I’ve saved roughly 160 hours a month across all my AI-driven workflows. That is time I get to spend back in the field, working with founders on franchise operations or helping someone navigate the franchise buying process.
"Social media should be a byproduct of your work, not a separate job."
Does This Actually Work?
People often ask me if "AI content" feels robotic. The answer is: only if you let the AI do the thinking.
When you use a system like Sonny, the AI isn't the source of the wisdom: it’s the messenger. The wisdom comes from the calls, the meetings, and the strategic advisory partnerships we run every day. Sonny just ensures that those lessons don't stay locked in a private Zoom room.

Join Us: See Sonny in Action
This is just one piece of the puzzle. On Wednesday, August 26, I’m hosting a joint webinar called "AI Employees That Actually Work." I’ll be sitting down with the founder who built these systems to show you exactly how I use Sonny, Eva, and the rest of the team to run El Jefe Enterprises with more rhythm and less chaos.
If you’re tired of the social media hamster wheel and want to see how to turn your daily work into an automated brand engine, I’d love to have you there.
